We do not recommend deleting clients. Deleted clients can not be restored. Consider archiving clients instead. Archiving a client removes the client from client lists – reducing clutter and letting you focus on current clients. Archived clients can be later restored.
To delete a client:
- Select Clients and drill into the name of the client you wish to delete.
- Open the Notes or Documents tab.
- In the Options drop-down on the left of the screen, select Delete Client and confirm deletion.
The client will be deleted only if they do not have a quote, invoice or job assigned to them, otherwise they will still be linked to these notes or documents. Deleted clients will no longer appear in the client list or in any reports.
