Setting up milestones in the job template provide a convenient way of scheduling regular events (such as project reviews) in all new jobs that are based on the job template.
To add a milestone A milestone is a scheduled event that marks the completion of a significant deliverable element or component of a job. For example: send first draft to client; building inspector signoff. to a job template:
- In the Business menu, select Settings > Job Settings > Job Template.
- Drill down on the name of the job template you wish to edit.
- On the Edit Job Template screen, select New Milestone.
- In the milestone information pane, fill in the information about the milestone. For more information about each of the fields, see the Data fields reference section below.
- Save your changes.

The number of days, weeks or months, after the start of the job, that the milestone will occur.
|Folder||Use the folder Folders allow you to organise your job tasks, milestones, costs, notes or documents into logical groups for costing, reporting and management purposes, providing you with greater visibility and context. Folders are specific to each job, so if you create folders for one job they will not be available to another job. If you have given your client access to WorkflowMax (for details, see Invite a client to log in), they can view their jobs and interact with any notes, documents or milestones that have been flagged as Public.
