Work in Progress Manager (1 min 28 sec.)
The Work In Progress ( WIP Work In Progress in WorkflowMax is all uninvoiced staff time and disbursements recorded on client jobs. ) Manager allows you to easily view and manage all of your un-invoiced WIP on all of your jobs, in one place.
All jobs with costs or billable time recorded against them will be listed on the List tab of the WIP Manager:
- whether or not the job has a quote
- whether or not any actual time and costs have accumulated
- irrespective of the job state (even jobs in the Cancelled job state still will be listed here)
- even if the job has zero un-invoiced WIP.
In addition, every job will remain listed in the WIP Manager until:
- a ‘final’ invoice is issued from within the job
- the Remove from Invoice List option is used on the Financial tab of the job
- or the job is removed from the List tab in the WIP manager. This method can be used to remove multiple jobs once, rather than single jobs individually.
The WIP Manager is designed in this way to make sure that all WIP is invoiced out, and none is accidentally lost.
