In WorkflowMax, printing a quote or estimate creates a document that can be printed, emailed to a client or exported into several file formats.
To print, email or export a quote or estimate:
- Open the quote or estimate you want to work with. You can open them from the Business menu > Quotes, or from the Financial tab of any Job.
- Click one of the print options: Save Draft & Print, or Issue & Print. If it has already been issued, Print Quote/Estimate.
- On the Print Quote/Estimate screen, choose the required print options.
- If the Template drop-down list is visible, do one of the following:
- Select a custom print template. The System Default template print options are not available for custom print templates.
- Leave the System Default template selected.
- If you leave the System Default template selected, use the checkboxes to choose which elements of the quote or estimate should be included in the printed version.
- If the Template drop-down list is visible, do one of the following:
- Print. The contents of the quote or estimate are displayed on screen.
You can use the print icon (
) on the PDF toolbar to send the document directly to your printer.
- (optional) Email the quote.
- Select Email.
- On the Print Quote/Estimate screen, fill in the details of who to send it to. By default, the contact on the quote or estimate will be selected, but you can add other recipients too.
You can customise the subject line of the email, and include a message to the contact.
- Send Email. The selected quote or estimate is emailed to the specified contacts or email addresses as an attached PDF document.
- (optional) Export the quote or estimate in the required format. The options available depend on whether you're printing using the System Default template or a custom print template.
- Do one of the following:
- Select Export to Excel (.XLS format), Export to CSV (.CSV format) or Export to PDF (Adobe PDF format) (when using the System Default template).
- Select Export to Word (.DOCX format) or Export to PDF (Adobe PDF format) (when using a custom print template).
- View or save the exported file, as required.
