You can add activities Activities are tasks or to-do items that you can add to a lead. They can act as reminders to ensure that you (or another staff member) fully progress the lead within a set time (such as following up with the client). to lead A lead is a possible sale opportunity for a prospective client (a prospect) or an existing client. templates to provide a standardised list of to-do items, which helps ensure that leads are always processed in the same way.
To add an activity to a lead template:
- On the Edit Lead Template screen, select New Activity.
- On the New Lead Template Activity screen, provide the following information, as required.
Field Description Activity The subject or description of the activity. Due The number of Days, Weeks or Months after the lead start date that the activity is expected to be completed. Type a value and select the required time period from the drop-down list. - Save your changes. The activity is added to the lead template's activity list (activities are listed in due-date order).
