Archiving a prospect Prospective clients (prospects) are clients who you haven't actively done work for yet. Prospects are created directly from the Client manager + New button; if you add a new prospect to a new lead; or if you import leads and the clients don't already exist. removes the prospect from lists. You can restore the prospect from the archive later if required.
Archiving a prospect
- Select Clients.
- Select the down-arrow to the right of the page title and select the Prospects Only filter A filter provides a quick way to display only selected clients, invoices, quotes and work in progress based on pre-defined criteria. Once a filter has been selected, it becomes the default title for the page. Page titles that are also filter names are shown in blue text with a drop-down arrow, at right. .
- On the Clients (Prospects Only) screen, select the checkbox to the left of each of the prospects you wish to archive.
- Archive at the top of the left-hand column. The prospect is move to the archive.
Restoring a prospect
- Select Clients.
- Select the down-arrow to the right of the page title and select the Archived filter.
- On the Archived screen, drill down on the prospect you wish to restore.
- On the prospect details screen, select Options > Restore. The selected prospect is restored to the active clients list.
